Writers Can Help Each Other

In Writer's Worksop we used partners to offer feedback to one another. Students checked each other's writing to make sure their writing is as clear, meaningful, and well crafted as it can be. They will then take this advice from their peer and revise their writing to get it ready for publication.

Reading Test Taking Wizards

Our students have been working really hard to focus on "doing their best on the test" by using all the awesome test taking strategies we are learning. That way when they finish ther test they will be proud of their hard work. The Reading Test Taking Wizards are selected for their hard work in their reading tests. Congrats to our very first Wizards! We are super proud of your hard work! 

Class Store

Our little munchkins participated in our Class Store on Wednesday. They have been earning "Munchkin Moolah" for being prepared, responsible, a good school citizen, and hard working. We reward students with Munchkin Moolah throughout our day as a positive praise and positive reinforcement. Some students were spenders but some friends wanted

to save up for some bigger items. Thank you to everyone who has sent in items for our story. Our kiddos love it. A few asked, "Can I really keep it."  We said, "Yes!  They said, "Do we get to take it home?"  We responded, "Well of course, you've earned it!"  Happy happy happy!

Seed Journals

Our kiddos decorated their "Seed Journals" with pictures, stickers, cut outs, and more. All of these memories will help create ideas for writing stories during Writing Workshop!  They were so excited to share their memories!
